Geophysical Information for Teachers (GIFT) Workshops allow science teachers to hear about the latest geoscience research from the scientists making the discoveries, explore new classroom resources for their students, and visit exhibits and technical sessions of the AGU meeting for free.  Watch videos of the 2011 GIFT Workshop presentations and activities. Jason Argonaut Competition. The Jason project awards a team of teachers and students the opportunity to become Argonauts and explore oceanography. Summer field experience to an international location. Teachers must have five years experience and teaching position for following school year. Deadline is in February.
